Thanks for shepherding the event through the years, Raul. Sheila and I especially enjoyed working on it with you.

Best of luck at your new job. Hope to see you and Anna at the new Dragon events.

...Well....what can one say ...except...you Raul...and your entire team, have made this car...more than a car...You have made Sharon & I.....a new way to live !!! Since the fall of 2003, our first S2K-Event...ever...we have made sooo many life-long friends, it is just hard to imagine...The Dragon, as we know her...has forever changed our lives...The anticipation, every year...to the 30-Plus car "Caravans" to the Wake...was something that we looked so forward to.. every spring.. I will surly miss this, as well as many, many others.... ....but as life seems to have a way of "Change"...now days...we will look forward to many more great times there...and continue the "Caravans"...and the "New" events, being held @ Deal's Gap...and surrounding areas....

Raul...You have made an impact, on each and every one of us....I will miss you...and the "Team".... I / We...can't thank you....anyway ...near enough, for "ALL" you have done throughout the years....

Godspeed to you, "My Friend"......and saying friend...well...that is an understatement

It was WTD that forever changed my outlook on the car, and life.

Thank you for all you have done, the times I've had would not have been so without your dedication.

I feel in time the event will go on under a new name, but the faces will never change and thats what makes it worth it.

I hope you will come to the next Spring T.O.D. event, and just sit back and enjoy as we all have. We have all been little kids on your carnival ride, you should do as we have done.

Sadly, I never attended any of your incredible events. I have heard great stories about them though! I am looking forward to Back to the Dragon next April! Airgate, good luck with everything, and I hope to see you at future events!

Will there be commemorative t-shirts & magnets made? And when will they be shipped?

Raul--you (and everyone who ever gave you a hand in planning & running WTD & DBR) deserve a huge round of applause.

Yes, it's true, there won't be Wake the Dragon and there won't be Dragon Ball Run...however, there will be Back to the Dragon in April (and yes, it's going to be at Fontana next year) and there will be the equivalent of Dragon Ball Run this September. We had a good last Wake The Dragon this April, we'll have a good Back to the Dragon next April. There are a limited number of rooms available at Fontana, so if you plan on staying there, reserve your room now. The rate is the normal Dragon rate. I'll put up the registration site shortly.
There are limited rooms for this September, next April, both?
There are a limited number of rooms for September (we need a name for this event. Can't be DBR, can't be Dragon Ball Run. What are we going to call it?). I plan to keep the spirit of Wake the Dragon alive as Back to the Dragon (BTD?) and have reserved a block of rooms for April 12 to April 14. The rate will be the standard WTD (gotta stop calling it that) rate, and it starts on Wednesday, April 10 so you can come early.
