RTD 18 Group EH Caravan
Also known as the Canadian Caravan
Since we are changing up our arrival this year, I thought I would post the changes if anyone is up for joining in.
Tues. May 8 departure from Port Huron Border at 10 am- heading via interstate to Gnaw Bone Indiana. That will mark the end of our interstate drive.
Wed. May 9, an early departure via twisty roads though a time zone to get to the National Corvette Museum. Once the motor heads have had enough of that, the group continues to Oneida TN. (Daniel Boon national forest) using twisty roads.
Thurs. May 10 is arrival day but not so fast. A big day, combining 'Aces and Eights' loop, Copperhead Rd and a bunch of twisty connector roads before pulling into Fontana with our hair on fire, Thursday Afternoon.
Before you can ask, yes, you can get from Port Huron to Fontana in one day, BUT, not if you follow the Canadians. LOL
Except for Devils Triangle, this will be the first time we have explored the area North of Knoxville

This isn't the exact route since Google refuses to give more than 10 way points but it gives the idea of where we will be going Wednesday and Thursday to arrive at the event.

dave, that's my old neck of the woods- I was at Bloomington, IN for school for 4 years- consider the drive to that great college town. Just with I had an s2000 back in those days- they hadn't been invented yet!

We go thru Gnaw Bone every year for the Brown County Run. There are some fun roads around there!
