I support Airgates side of the argument but I also feel some more tact/decorum was called for especially if you are going to call people out in public like this.

Say what you want, the way you want to, in PM but in public, keep it a tad more professional, especially when demanding payment on what amounts to a judgement call or scruples decision (on the part of the registrant) like this.

for the cause, for some of the statements

My comments needed or not, this is as objective as I can be.

Good luck

You guys can say what you want but the majority of us got our payment in before the event, not a month after.

Shareall is right, everyone should pay up but if some don't I would be will to make a donation. Airgate, you should not have to cover it out of your pocket. Ihad way more fun than I paid for!

I hear what you're saying, but you should know better than anyone....as a CO. Put together an event of this magnitude, then have to come out of your own pocket $680 and tell us how you feel.

Right on buddy! There are no excuses. If someone is that shallow to debate the number of reminders that the club sent him asking for payment, he deserves to be publically humiliated. Take you medicine like a man. Take vacations after you fulfill you commitments; especially where others have taken time and money to fulfill your requests.

I agree you should only ask once. I did not know until I was sent a PM that I owed the club money. Now that I know, my side of things will be taken care of. I think this should have been handled better instead of name calling. None the less everyone should pay up.

Well here's my side of the story make of it what you want. I DID register for the WTD very late because I was not sure if I was going to make it. It wasn't clear that even if I was not able to attend I would still be responsible for fees. I got a response saying that I could just pay at the event. That is what I explained to raul through email. But his only response was "cut the crap and pay up". That was definitely not the kind of response I expected, especially from someone who is supposed to be a moderator. Had he responded to me with at least a bit of civility or explained to me he would be personally liable for the fees I wouldn't have had a problem with paying. It's obvious from his posts here and responses to me that he is still acting like a juvenile. With that said I will pay only because he states it will come out of his own pocket. It sounds obvious to me that raul still does not know the problem wasn't about the money.

A person commits to coming to an event, and by that commitment puts the club on the line to pay a fee. In effect, the club is acting as their agent by making arrangements on their behalf. That person needs to pay regardless of attendance.

Pay up people...

I say there complety obligated to pay...

and that wedding thing is a bad example because no one pays to go to a wedding.

we pay to go to this and those that say they are coming and register but do not pay are still obligated to pay unless they had said something before..

im suprised to see francis on there but for those that say they are sending the checks they should have sent them a long long time ago.

i say if they end up not paying then you ban them

or ill rent the focus and we can stuff them in the trunk
