Yep, that was us. We were going to go back to Craven Pass and come back that way but the parkway was closed going that way. We went back to Asheville the same way we came up (Rt 80).

It's 24 miles to the BRP at Bryson City, NC. From there you can go the parkway to Asheville via a couple of roads I know in the area (ask Denny about Rt 151) or you can stay on the BRP all the way to Asheville. Might make a nice day trip to go to Asheville for dinner (like on Thursday perhaps for the early arrival people (me, Patrick, Frei)...oh, wait a minute, we did that at WTD9). I could lead that drive, it's no big deal. If you want to do that, I can make arrangements with one of the best restaurants in Asheville for a special dinner. Patrick knows about my special dinners, ask him. Dinner wouldn't be cheap but it would be delicious and memorable.

Suggestion for the next event....

Close our northern border and keep them dang Canadians out!
I really thought we had something, both our names being Mike and all. I see how it is . No more ketchup chips for anyone!
Fluky, just come on down through PA. Your welcome here anytime, with or without chips.
