Hey Ken and Patrick:
Did you guys go to Mt. Mitchell on Wednesday afternoon in the 3 car caravan shown in the pic? If so, I think I passed you guys when I was headed to Asheville, and I had just left Mt. Mitchell, but couldn't take the BRP to Asheville because it was closed at Mt. Mitchell.

It's 24 miles to the BRP at Bryson City, NC. From there you can go the parkway to Asheville via a couple of roads I know in the area (ask Denny about Rt 151) or you can stay on the BRP all the way to Asheville. Might make a nice day trip to go to Asheville for dinner (like on Thursday perhaps for the early arrival people (me, Patrick, Frei)...oh, wait a minute, we did that at WTD9). I could lead that drive, it's no big deal. If you want to do that, I can make arrangements with one of the best restaurants in Asheville for a special dinner. Patrick knows about my special dinners, ask him. Dinner wouldn't be cheap but it would be delicious and memorable.
