Just one idea, one of my default wallpapers for years.

I just have one thing to add. You will never understand your car's limit and capability with vsa/vsc/dsc/tbd/std enabled. it simply won't allow you to reach and/or exceed the limit without intruding to some degree. Thus, you can never learn how it truly behaves while there.

But let me be clear: you do not learn or explore the limit of your car on the dragon.

NO NANNY!!!!

spent LAST weekend at the Dragon. Most amazing experience of my life. my ap1 made it a hell of a trip, especially when pushed to the absolute limit. random ap1 driver joined us for a night tear through the dragon and nearly went off inches in front of me. front tires were teetering on the edge. guy got lucky. but an 08, youre fine, i say do 1 run through and back with vsc on and then take it off. good tires will be the most important part

Yeah we may try the Cherohala Skyway since that is pretty much on our way coming from Atlanta. Good idea!

And nice photo of the yellow S2k! I'll try to get some photos of my S2k soon. I'm sure I'll get one or two from Killboy. In the meantime, here is a photo of one of my other cars. Hit "M" for full resolution.

Think the skyway has 40, 45, and 55 MPH limits. One part had a blind 90 degree turn at the top of a hill with a sobering grave marker. Just be careful - some of the turns are not marked at all.

I took my AP1 to the dragon last summer. The road itself isn't dangerous if you're smart, and be sure not to wander in the opposite lanes during a corner (duh). However, watch yourself if you take some of the backroads in the surrounding area. I was on a road just half an hour away from the Cherohala Skyway and spun out at a corner that was just after the crest of a hill where someone's driveway had left gravel, and it had a 55mph speed limit to boot. Didn't end well. An officer who was on the scene told me there used to be a caution sign, but someone spun into it, go figure.

Do NOT turn off your VSC on a public road, ESPECIALLY on the Dragon. It would be a really foolish thing to do. VSC on the S2K is not at all intrusive. If it is engaged, you are pushing too hard.
