Our event is only for registered attendees. As we get into our driving groups for the day, we will be checking all drivers and passengers for event lanyards. Those who didn't register won't be allowed to drive the routes of the event.

Took awhile to get any comments about my road trip--- So I just could not wait for the WTD. Found an excuse to run down to Pittsburgh to fetch a dirt bike engine. you guessed it, used the S2000, ha rigged up the trunk with the right sized box. 6 hrs on hwy 3, I90, I79, grab the motor and go looking for the Allegheny mountains. Got off the scenic rt 62 and asked which is twistiest road north thru the park. Older gentlemen said if you want corners, try 666. Seemed like a fitting number for a winding road and headed out. Mostly it was good but several miles of patchwork had me wishing for it to get better. Mostly was a fun trip and good conditioning for the up coming monster trip down Blue Ridge

Yes they take radar detectors away from us in Canada too. No guns either. i am not sure I will get the radio. I tried the radio thing snowmobiling and think I will pass. Got tired of having someone yelling in my ear every time someone saw a corner or bump. I will just have to look out for myself. Planning on using Front Royal to enter the SkyLine Dr Followed by the Blue Ridge which I believe is also plagued with rock and mud slides. From somewhere along Blue Ridge it should be simple enough to find the Fontanna. As for time to go on a week drive. Working 7 days a week since November has me feeling not too guilty. Is it too early to leave for WTD yet?
