The calm before the storm (v8 swap)

Congrats on the start up, you work fast. I had a few issues like this when I first got going, like the reverse lockout grounding out and cutting the motor every time I went into reverse, for example! Goodluck in the troubleshooting.

Little update. Ended up tearing the harness out, sent it back. I received it late yesterday; same shit. Finally realized the ECU wasnt powering on at all. Realized they didnt splice the power from the right wire on the c101 where the mfg. does. Spliced it in and voila! Got fans, coolant gauge, and no immobilizer flashing anymore. Everything is good now except for alignment, exhaust, and I believe my throttle pedal is just dead. I might have welded onto it a little to much. Maybe the sensor got fried.
I need to renew my s2ki membership... sorry no vids or pictures right now.

Great work man!!! I bypassed my heater core and installed heated seats. She's in the garage for winters anyways. But, the heated seats take the chill off of the cooler spring/fall weather.

Just wanted to post an update! Guys.
Its been a wonderful end of summer ls2k ownership haha. I have been changing the oil and gassin it up! Thats it.
Ill be buying a differential kit soon so, sweating about the weak link should be gone sooner rather then later. Thumbs up!

No annoying vibrations that I can blame on the swap. I have a little exhaust vibe going on only because it seems to hard to find an actual exhaust shop that knows what they are doing. It just sucks you dont get what you pay for these days. The exhaust is the only thing I didnt do to lol (go figure) its messed up.
Idk if I can actually complain about the steering from stock but it does have a wider turn radius now. (Only thing I can complain about)
I have been to KC, Topeka, TX, wichita... finished the swap with roughly 91k and im at 103k now lmao.

Awesome pics the swap came out super nice.
I know what you mean about getting what you paid for, I’m let down 100% of the time everytime I have my car worked on somewhere. What’s your location again? There’s a handful of shops in houston that could do your exhaust.
