Default LSx turbo build thread

What I know works:
  • Truck manifolds, Trailblazer SS and others. You must cut them off at the last runner and add a vband. They work, and they are proven up to 200mph(Ohio boys) however with our EPS the low exit position is not exactly desirable and they are dirty ugly.
  • Jardine LSX up and forward headers, custom for S2000 with my measurements. Just got these and they will work great for my twin turbo build

Anyone else in the process of turbing their build have any input?

If the jardine headers fit then that would be a ton of time and money saved.

XS-Power headers ended up being really really nice for ebay headers. Shocked actually. bad new is they hit the strut towers.

The first runner slams into the towers and the merge hits as well. If you put a straight edge on the block side flange and measure the distance from that plane to the header you get one inch, which is about what these headers miss clearing by. looks like I will need to find some manifolds where the flange axis is flush with the runner to compensate for the angled exhaust output position of the LSx block

Dang! I'm leaning towards just doing flipped manifolds at this point.

Impressive build, Subscribed. We also tossed around the idea on going full retard on our car and doing a turbo LS.

Other side has been tacked on. Time to find a place for the twin HKS 60mm gt2 gates
