S2000 Transmission Torque Limit for Kswaps
Hey guys,
What do you think the safe limit is for AP1 transmissions with the K24 swaps?
I bring up this subject because if someone was going to do a Kswap they might want to consider doing a transmission swap at the same time. KMiata has just released some new adapter plates for the K series engines to BMW transmissions. For someone going through the trouble of doing an engine swap they might want to swap in a stout transmission at the same time. Especially since a K-swap will require a adapter no matter what RWD transmission you are trying to mount it to. Kmiata offers both BMW 5 speed and 6 speed transmission swaps available for the K series engine.

Hench leads me back to the question what is the torque limit for a K swapped engine, I know this is making assumptions what is an educated guess for someone that wants to do autocross, track days, and burnouts?
