I found a shop in Wisconsin that has done multiple S2000 K24 swaps and appears to have reasonable prices. I'm most concerned about the reliability of the swap if done with an unmodified bone stock K24 TSX engine, bolt ons, and tune. Input and personal experience greatly appreciated

Thanks for the tag! @klapamos , I believe we were talking yesterday on facebook.
My car, linked above, has really been the development car for ASM’s K swaps and has had basically every configuration of K24 in it.
It’s had:
Stock K24 running N/A around 210whp on pump gas
4 Piston Built K24 that I bought from Mr. Sideways. We ran that at 260whp on E85
Stock K24 with Kraftwerks Supercharger running 400whp on E85
Stock K25 with Garret G25-660 running 500whp on E85.
The stock engines have always been unopened K24A2s or JDM K24As that we have added a 50* VTC gear, an RSX Type-S oil pump, and a Moroso K-series oil pan (although I think he’s testing a unit 2 fab oil pan on some other cars).
The car has been used for Time Attack events, One Lap of America (autocross, drag strip, 13 mini Time Trials, 3,500 street miles in 1 week), the occasional autocross, and lots of test HPDEs since 2017 when we started building the car. In that time we have had fail:
2 front left spindles (we believe too aggressive of offset ball joints caused this)
2x Wastegate diaphragms - This is our current failure and we believe this is due to our new exhaust packaging and we need to go to a water-cooled wastegate.
Not one engine failure.
He has options to do the swap with various components based on how streetable you want the car to be. My car is built purely for the track so we don’t have A/C, we have a fender exit exhaust, and stuff like that, there are a few out there that ASM has done that are just 100% street cars @Luder94 has a great example.
Very reputable shop. Ben from Gears and Gasoline has 2 K-Swapped cars that Andy at ASM built for him, if you wanna check out the builds on YouTube. About $5k more than doing it yourself, but if you don't have a lift, well worth it
Alex, thanks for the tag. Yes, I WHOLE-HEARTEDLY recommend ASM for K swapping your S2K. Andy did mine, which was a little more complex. I've owned my car for 20 years now....started life with an F20, then swapped to F22, then swapped to LS1....then finally Prayontoo K24 with K20 head done at ASM. The quality of work is superb, last summer was my first with the k24. It got just under 9k miles in one summer just driving touring events (Dragon twice, Twisted Sisters, Breckenridge, and St. Louis Arches). In its first year, no issues with the exceptions of me knackering an oil pan.
Not too much driving this year with trying to split my time among the other s2ks and not having any destination drives with hotels and restaurants being closed for the most part. Car is awesomely powerful for the street with 200 ft/lbs and 280 hp at the wheels NA. I spent a little more money on this swap to get a built motor, have Andy do it (due to the wiring mess from the previous swaps) and just wanting it done correctly and cleanly the first time with premier parts.
It's the white one in the picture (red one is a MY2000 F22 swapped...blue one is untouched CR).
Didnt check the links, but if you are talking about Andy Smedegard then he has a stellar reputation. Being from MN, if was going to pay someone else to replace a motor or do a swap in my S2k he would be the first person I call. Locally, if someone has an engine failure and needs a replacement or is doing a swap, he is typically the number one name that comes up. So, I have not worked with him, but know his name that well just from others. So I dont think you can go wrong with calling him! I hear he is also great at being able to locate solid F20/F22 replacements
