Default Convex Mirror

Hi Euro guys,

Concerning this thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=65754, do you think we have the flat or convex one ?

If we have the flat one, I'm interested about this thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=69366

Hmm, difficult to say. I have a HUGE blind spot - thus it looks like it's a flat one. But I have the impression that the image gets distorted on the left side of the mirror. So I thought that it's a flat one with a small convex part.
If someone knows how to take it of without breaking anything, he could look if it says "flat" on the rear.

Sorry SwisS2ki I meant to reply to your PM sooner but I can't help you too much.

After reading the thread and subsequently driving the car again I decided that the blind spot didn't bother me enough to make it worthwhile looking at solutions any further. I very rarely drive on roads with much traffic so on the rare occasions that a car wants to catch me up and overtake I see it in the rear-view mirror long before it reaches my blind spot.

SwisS2Ki,

I have a US spec car and compaired mirrors when I was visiting Ronald a few months back. It is certain that the EU version cars have already the convex mirror on the driver side.

Believe me... You think your blind spot is bad? Mine is gargantuous!!

Regards,

Peter
