PK, visiting coastal Norway is on my list for future touring...most likely by mail boat. We have been to Oslo, Bergen and then drove down the length of Norway to the ferry to Denmark....this was back in the 70's. I don't know the towns that you mention, but trust that they are quite picturesque

Hey.

No wonder that you didn`t see any S2k on your trip her in Norway. We have only 73 S2K registred her in Viking land.
S2K is more rare than a Ferrari over here!
Pretty cool to own one! ;-)

Glad to see a Norse poster!

As an architect, I was excited to learn about the great new rest stops and other interesting small road-side structures all over Norway....fees paid by a special tourist bureau. Most of these are located along the scenic outlooks on the west coast....reason for a great road trip

There was an exhibit and lecture here in Philadelphia...given by the Norwegian exhibit curator, with Norwegian Consul in attendance

I have a book about the program and maps to the sites...but can't find it right now

I did not think this post would last this long.

So long in fact that I am heading back with my S2000 but doing the full round trip up to Knivskjellodden and a small diversion for the Trollstigen on the way back down

Make that 74 S2000 on the roads for the summer even if one has GB on the licence plate
