Stand alone ECU or piggy back recommendation
Can anyone recommend standalone ECU or piggy back for Euro spec S2000?
I tried AEM EMS V2 from USA, but I faced some problems.
Here's my post on the US forum:
I bought the AEM EMS V2 on my Euro car, I faced fuzzy readings, i.e: temperature and map sensor were not stable and some other sensors, earlier than that, I also bought Greddy Emanage ultimate, also faced checkengine the minute I turn ignition on before starting the engine, and the reason is the map sensor voltage, when using scanner OBDII to detect the CEL
I thought it's a grounding issue in my car so I tried on my friend's Euro car, same issues
He then bought a supercharger Vortech from US also, it comes with two piggyback controllers, for ignition timing and AFR. He faced a problem, then Vortech told him you need controllers for Euro spec ECUs. When they sent him the new controllers, everything ran just fine.
I also tried my AEM on my friend's US version car, it was like perfect. So all these cases lead to one thing:
Eurospec ECU or sensors, are different than the US ones.
Correct me if I'm wrong please.
What are you guys using to tune the car in Europe
I have the 2004 S2000 AP1
engine code F20C2
Euro spec

I use a eManage BADAS Black (tuned by Giles in the USA).. my case is very special since I have a EDM MY08 (meaning F20C + DBW). But it works perfectly. They also have a version for AP1 EDM cars (<MY06)
Maybe you can contact Giles (But I don't know if he's still on business)
There's also people with EDM cars and AEMs (at least V1)
