About to install V-tec Controller
Hey, i was just curious if anyone has put a V-tec controller on there S2, and if it's worth it or not. I just want to know roughly how much h.p. I'll be getting, and if it will hurt my baby or not. I appreciate any feedback.
as long as you get a good tuner i dont see it hurting
with an 02 you should get good gains through the rpm range, and only a few up top
if you plan on adding mods wait til you are done before tuning it

Since we don't have a dyno, we suggest to purchase an AEM UEGO wide band controller (about $270) then the tune is easier and more precise for the tuner. Gains are not to impressive unless you have at least I/H/E.
Ask JC Alsup here on the boards how well his stock Comptech S2K reacted to an aggressive tune that my tuner did on his car. When I drove it after it was tuned the car was scary-fast!
