Default Proper VTEC setting with V-AFC2?

So I heard that its a good idea to keep our VTEC at 6K when using the V-AFC2. But I kinda want to change it to 5000rpms. Is that bad? And if I do change it, that means I'll have VTEC from 5K all the way 9K still right?

Yeah you would. But the only problem being that just because you have vtec at 5000 doesn't mean that you'll be making more power then you do at 6000. You might even be losing a little bit of power. The only way to really know where the best RPM to have vtec kick in is to put it on a dyno and have some one tune it.

Ztopgun...are you still trying to tune your VAFC yourself? A competent tuner will be able to set your VTEC engagement at the optimum point.
