That was shortly after the turbo setup and it was second gear. But it was only at 347hp. Now at over 400 I have learned two things don't hammer the car unless you are ready for it and two, don't have anything to drink before.

My turbo is smaller and my power comes in sooner. Plus my Vtec is still at around 6k so my turbo is at full boost when the vtec comes in. I may loose some HP in the midrange but that is part of what makes it smooth.

Most of the setups I have seen, the turbo hits full boost at the same time the vtec hits. Makes for crazy power at once instead of staging it. It works for me since I am soooooo Oldddddddd!

P.S. In Dallas for a few days then back to DTW for work. The next weekend I have off is Dec 2nd. I will be up for something then.
