Default Is alignment needed after installing lowering springs?

I just bough some tein stechs on stock struts and wanted to know if aligning the car was a must, also if it is needed should I wait a couple weeks for the springs to settle?

yes you need an alignment. if you bought the springs new then yeah, go ahead and wait 2-3 weeks for them to settle and then go get the alignment

Yes, I get my car re-aligned 2-3 times a year anyways!

While you do need an alignment, I brought mine in a few weeks after I installed my eibach springs and they said it was good I brought it to another place for a second opinion but they wouldn't touch it because it had "ground effects" (OEM lip). So I gave up and went home. I still have my doubts that it is aligned but I'm only a few thousand miles from needing new tires anyway, so it can wait.

BTW slusoccer, you know the 100k counter in your sig is wrong? If the mileage starts at 99,996 and the trip at 0, the trip would only reach 4(and not 5) when the mileage hit 100,000. Now that I noticed that it will bug me... forever.

^^I'm sure my experience isn't common. The guy that said that probably knew more about how to cook possum than cars, I'm glad he turned me away.
