not yet.... somebody painted the reflectors inside the AP2's black and it looked ok but I like the ap2's.

I would paint mine too if I had AP1's but I upgraded last year.....let me rephrase, I would purchase chrome JDM if I had a choice.

Back when I had my wreck I could not find a pair of chromies anywhere in the tsates and there was an 8 week minimum to order from Japan, so i went with ap2

Well I pulled my first headlight apart: 15 minutes at 225 degrees on a cookie sheet. Came apart pretty easy. If I do get the black part painted does the chrome circle in the middle of the black piece get painted also? It looks as if I try to tape it there would a very visible tape line. Time to order the diffusers.

Taping off the chrome ring around the HID projector is not the problem. The problem is removing the tape The chrome is just sprayed on and comes off even with lite tack 3M tape I fond this out the hard way
