OEM in my car lasted for 5 years, Parents CR-V lasted 6.5 years, I did the OEM replacement on mine, Parents traded for a new CR-V

The best way to get longer battery life . Check the water level every six months, And only use distilled water. Regular tap or bottled water will kill a battey. So does letting the water level get below the lead plates inside the battery.
