recall is only good for 2000, just take it to your dealer and let them know that there was a recall about faded tail lights. Do a search on the forum for the recall in pdf and take it to your dealer if you need reinforcement.

 

I have the same thing going on. I just called the dealer, gave the guy my vin #, and he told me that is not a problem but he would have to order the lights. Should have them soon.
