Default conv top question

any convertible top experts here? I recently got my car back from the shop (accident) and they can't seem to figure out where these 2 straps belong hanging from the inside of the conv. top. They SEEM to hold the last bar back preventing the top from caving in the corners. I can't seem to locate the exact location for them to go though. Any ideas?

Oh also. I noticed the rollhoops have cracked open along the seems about 1-2 hours after picking the car outa the shop. They said they would call Honda Monday and take care of it for me. but is this something that they can repair, or do the roll hoops have to be replaced? because I they don't seem to have any hooks, or snaps it looks like it had little weld spots.

Thanks for any information. !!

The roll hoops are not suppose to come apart they are put together with a wire thread. If they are separated they can be repaired by removing the wire and using an epoxy to mend them back together
