I just bought a 2001 with 55k miles in gorgeous condition but the top has a couple minor tears in it. I'm wanting to replace it with a glass window with defogger...

Any advice on where to buy and where to get it installed, & how much should I expect to pay?

 

I'm installing a glass rear window top for my 2000 s2k in a couple weeks u can get great deals on tops on topsonline.com I think I will double check when I get home but I'm buying a new top with glass its going to be 618.00$ shipped to my door.hope I was some help good luck with your search.

 

I bought mine from topsonline through eBay and I definitely would recommend them. It is not as tight as OEM glass window but a better replacement for the OEM 00-01 tops. I had the top installed by a local shop in Tampa but was not 100% satisfied with their work. I think they actually installed it incorrectly that is why I have wrinkles on the back portion of the top. Expect between $450 to $550 for labor then the top around $600. If I can do it again, I would wait for someone selling an OEM top with frame and do it myself. OEM just fits a lot better. Check it.

 

Check your PM for a number on a guy that does tops.
