Wow, sorry to hear about that glad you and your car are OK. It was nice meeting you at Rob's and the wings at MUgs and Jugs were really great. See you at the Grand Prix if not sooner.

being in sight of wrecks alone is scary enough...to have a car darting toward you is even more scary.
The SPGP curse is still alive!!!!!!
Q: Are we still good for the parade events?? I need your assesment on the extent of the damage and a pic if possible. it does not sound too bad but I need to ask because of the parade events. A scrape/scratch or two down low on the bumper wont be a deal breaker (especially if you have touch up paint) but if there is significant visible damage like dents and cracks then we will have to evaluate and see where we are at.

I do have a case number and the officer stated I should call to get the report.
I hope either the city of Largo or the insurance companies take care of it but we will see.
Rob, the damage is not that bad at all and the bumper itself is not cracked and there is no damge to the meteal either thank God. I'll post pics as soon as possible.

you got the offending cars info and insurance company, yes??
not much hope IMHO of getting restitution form the city.
File your claim with your insurance even if you have the other person's insurance info and get the ball rolling on a reverse claim through your insurance
let the offending person worry about getting anything from the city in regards to this event. You need to worry about his/her insurance covering your damage not the city. The city will be worried about thier liability concerning the initial wreck first if they choose to care at all.
No worries on your parade lap stuff just shoot me pic when its convenient for you just so I can see whats up
