I never did check these but thanks to yarborough for reminding me. I bet I'll be in need soon if not already.

Nice Necropost! After reading this I am wondering how you're liking the mounts after a year or so. Seems like a good upgrade - I take it you have to hoist the engine to do the work - surely not a full removal?

You change one mount at a time no hoist needed. I had the street mounts and one already failed im thinking from my Dragon trip. I got then to send me track mounts which are stiffer. They told me i drive too hard for the street mounts. LOL I'm still surprised it failed. As you can see it got all egg shaped and caused a nasty vibration. This is the passenger side mount

Stock FTW in my opinion. I have ran many different brand Urathane mounts and other supposedly NON-vibrating mounts on my old Protege and they all have egg shaped over time. I would say OEM all the way. They are made to last and although they may break with extreme use...well that's expected.

I dont really mind the vibration. The car feels more solid with these mounts. I didnt want OEM again because if you track the car like i do then they will rip it happens often

hey blacknot, make sure there isn't excessive heat causing the mount to get hot and soften. some of the turbo guys have melted these mounts. it's hard to see how close your header is to the mount. if needed, you could easily fab a heat shield to cover the mount.

just a heads up.
