damn you guys take everything to the hert. i dont litterally go around ALL the time drifting and going fast. what im trying to say is i definitely do race anything that gets next to me and i like a little powerslide every now and then. i didnt litterally mean i always go 120 down krome ave and drift everyday
No offense meant on my part, I was speaking to many many people when i wrote this. I was using you as an example. There are ways to have waaaay more fun with your car than the occasional power-slide and street race.

Your posts are enthusiastic, and i share that. I'm just trying to clue you into the fun world that awaits if you do so choose. And to let you know that most racers look down on street racing. It's pretty weak, and not all that smart.

What we are literally are trying to say is that it's stupid to street race.

If you want to race, do some autocrosses (and get your ass handed to you) or go to a drag strip (and get your ass handed to you) or start going to HPDE events.

Street racing isn't smart.

Understanding you enjoy spirited driving, just keep in mind no one on these boards are trying to insult you. We offer the best counseling advice. Reason being, it is always best to show our fellow members and guests better alternatives to "spirited driving" on a track, autoX, or sanctioned event where you learn about your ability and how your car handles.

Here we discuss and point out the facts. On the street its not if, its when a police officer stops you and issues you an expensive ticket, or loosing total control of your car and increasing the chances of injuring or killing someone or yourself.

Willie Gee and ZDave have been to several events in FL and have years of expeirence. I have years of military operational expeirence in the Middle East, South East Asia, and Africa. I have training with the US Army and Federal Law Enforcement for High Speed offensive defensive driving.

With that said, several time a year there are event posted for AutoX and Sebring. Look into them. Ask for assistance and many in the FL community will be more than happy to oblige you.

Also ... we've seen, first hand, how 'spirited driving' can cause a mishap even when it seemed safe. We've had a couple unfortunate incidents in our group drives.

The reaction from those affected is what we would hate to see you go through ... that's all
