shouldn't be a conflict as long as the ads stay on our local forum. BTW all monies raised will go directly back into community building. It won't be very expensive at all either, and by you guys giving a discount to our members there will be advantage for membership. It's a win win!

I have been kicking this idea around to the local vendors for sometime now.

Willie, I dont know if you had any luck getting the admin info to change the banners out. I tried contacting Erik many times to get that info resent to me but it never happened.

Here are my suggestions for giving out banners for local vendors:

--standing discount percentage on goods and services at your establishment or some other offer like special pricing on certain items etc etc

The monetary donation thing I think can be handled differently. I think each vendor should host and or at least sponsor a S2ki BBQ or picnic somewhere (maybe...2 times a year).

they would be responsible for the major items of the BBq or Picnic (main food items, some drinks etc) but we the patrons would be responsible for rsvping with a support item like (ice, utensils, plates, other drinks, desserts etc)

The vendors could work with the CO's to plan the event location, times, and the posted threads etc etc.

Having events like this will help market the vendor that hosts the event and give all of us a great way to meet up and have fun

I think establishing a set order of compensation to the community like this would be a better policy than trying to keep a treasury of funds and then trying to decide how to best use said booty.



I know we have been discussing it for a long time. lets post up what we think the best policy would be.

All you vendors out there, now is the time to let your voice be heard.

Members.... that goes the same for you. if you have an idea lets hear it.
