I believe it's something more like "If life gives me lemonade, I'll find someone who life gave them vodka...", etc. etc.

At least the engine didn't implode on you... sounds like it's repairable without replacing the bottom end.
See my sig.

Rob, best of luck on the rebuild.

I assume you're asking about the TB bypass gasket. Stuff the coolant lines in the TB. The lines are there to warm the intake air when it's really cold out, help the engine... since we live in a warm climate, they're not necessary. So, tap off the coolant lines running through the TB and bypass the TB alltogether. Reduces intake air temps and reduces hp loss even further.

Just dropped off my spare crank that I just had micro-polished just in case you need it. I will do a cryo-run on next Weds when I get back. Have everything ready for me and we will make that mofo stronger, tighter, and just like Jeff's.

When the decked Jeff's block they broke a brand new blade before it got to the second cylinder.

That would be half way through the first cylinder.

That has to have been a fluke... cryo makes it better, but I can't imagine it making it that much better.

Probably was a bad blade. The thermal cycling doesn't really increase the tensile strength of aluminum. It adds dimensional stability, improves heat dissipation, and increases wear resistance. Now a steel block is a different story.

It was funny when Jeff B. told me the story.

It was a new blade. Just had to take his time with the second new one.

Who is Jeff B?
