I just received a set of used f2 type II. But it looked like the previouse owner lowered the car by lowering the rings that the springs sit on instead of raising the bottom part of the coilover.

Does anyone know what's the factory preload for these coilovers or does anyone know how high to raise the springs to factory height ro properlly lower the car?

I have them on my Honda Fit and the preload should have been set straight out of the box. When I received my F&F straight from the manufacture they told me that is was 5mm of preload, but my was not set properly. I would call them to find out the specified preload. If the previous owner changed the preload then they do not warranty the coil overs.
