Default Gear Install

Just wanted to know what places are good to get gears installed. Around how much should i be looking to pay around. Ive got a couple prices and they range from $450-900. $450 is at the shop here on colonial, i believe it is first class automotive where they have the nsx's. Do they do good work??

2nrWerks can do it for you around that price. Give them a call.

I have heard many good things about First class. Many like 2nrworks as well... It all depends if you want to drive an hour each way "to and from" the shop... or just drive it to first class which is local.

If you are planning to buy the Rick's 4.57r gears, I would recommend using Hardtop Guy's install service. You pay a deposit + cost of gears, he sends you a rebuilt diff with the gears, you swap diffs (which is easy), ship your diff back to HTG and he refunds the deposit. If something goes wrong, there is one person to talk to...HTG. If the diff fails...no arguing over whether it's the local installer's fault or if it was a bad gearset.

Do yourself a favor and let ADVANCE DRIVELINE do it! That is all they do and they have done a few S2000's in the area including mine! Here is the info, I took them my Diff and the gears and I think I paid around $170.00 (don't quote me on that but I think it was around that).
Most shops take there diff's to them!

They are near OBT 441 and Lee Road
