Wink GIVE ME YOUR ENGINE!

In something less than 5200lbs!!

Here are the specs on the Xdrive50i.

http://www.roadandtrack.com/assets/downloa...RT_BMWX6_dp.pdf

400hp 450lb tq

0-60mph 4.8 seconds

0-100mph 12.5 seconds

1/4mi 13.4 seconds

This behemoth weighs a boatload. BMW must have some SICK SICK plans for the next M5 because the 550i's replacement will get this motor. The current 550i weighs 4,000lbs. Thats a whopping 1200lbs. I suspect the difference wont be that much in the up and coming gen. Welcome to the era of 12second non-M cars for the wealthy.

On a side note, I cant wait for someone to swap this in an M3. I'm going to go out on a limb and say its underrated and finely tuned.

I think the CTS-V and the 555i will be crosshopped more than the M5. I'll prematurely give the handling nod to the Caddy.

I would expect nothing less from you Primo! They need a raise. The car is already sold out for the model year. Anyway, I was talking about the hardware.

BMW says that the designer Chris Bangel is their "God-send". After he re-designed the Z4, they promoted him to the overseer of all design. This car reflects his signature. Heaven help BMW..................

I was just stirring the pot

I was truthful in my critique but I knew I would set the tone for at least a couple of people who would post in here.

I cannot fault any of the car's performances they are all impressive

just ugly

I am still torn between the new looks of the BMW family. It must be working as MB has come out with some wild not-so-boxy cars lately too. I still love the classic look of the audi's. mmmmmmm A8 W12

I have got up from the toilet and looked down before flushing and seen better looking sights than this BMW.
