Best game this weekend is 2 LSU vs. 9 VT! Any thoughts?

The only reason OU dropped to unranked was because there were only 20 spots and that was in 1959.

Excerpt from

"Wolverines fall from No. 5 to unranked in Week 2 poll"

espn.com

"Texas dropped 15 spots in 1997, going from ninth to 24th after a 66-3 loss to UCLA in September 1997. Louisville also fell 15 spots -- 11th to unranked -- in September 2005 after losing to South Florida.

The highest ranked team to fall from the poll after one loss was No. 2 Oklahoma in 1959, when the AP was ranking the top 20 teams. Later that season Army went from No. 4 to unranked.

In 1950, Tennessee went from No. 4 to unranked in October and in 1960 Illinois fall out of the ranking from No. 4."

The line for LSU/Va Tech posts LSU at -12.5....not sure they're going to overpower anyone considering the offensive "performance" last weekend.

So if that isn't the best game....what is?

I think a TCU upset of Texas is the best game.

I hear VT has a strong defense. I did not see them play, but if their offense is not proficient, LSU will have an easy day. LSU looks like a real contender, with speed and size all over the field.

LSU by 14 is probably a good prediction. I can't argue with that, nor offer a better prediction.

Miami vs. Oklahoma is more interesting to me. I think that game will expose Miami as pretenders.
