GO GATORS
Correct on that.
App. State is underrated, though. Just think for a minute:
All of those great athletes, that can't make the grades to get into the major schools, have to go to school somewhere. And where else, besides a Div. 1-AA powerhouse, where admission is not as difficult. The athlete can succeed, be on a winning team, and play immediately, most likely.
So of course, App. State targets certain athletes that fit that mold, and recruit the heck out of them! With those athletes, they formulate a great team, that wins national titles at Div. 1-AA. Those same athletes are good enough to play in Div. 1-A, but not good enough students. So, the athletes on the field, are quite comparable. The biggest difference, Michigan had 100 Div. 1-A quality athletes, while App. State may have only had 20.
Did you see the speed that App. State had at some positions. It was Div. 1-A speed!!! Very fast!!!!!
Example: Where did Randy Moss play college? He was a man among boys in college!
