Scotts car is smooth on the power application too. Like Carltons engine, it just sounds very tight and precise.

Not sloppy and piggy like mine

<----will have 0 mile build motor in a few days, still stock mind you but almost completely new head internals possibly more.

I dont know if I should be happy or sad or what. It is going to be a great experience to learn me some F20 stuff but at the same time I have a sick motor that will not give up the cause of the drama without a fight. I def. have the weirdest S2000 ever to be released from the factory.
You just make sure that it is Good & Tight (German Virgin) for our run to the Dragon next month. No Excuses!! A stock S2K will just about smoke anything else up there on the Dragon. Yours ought to be right on my tail regardless of the FI. Running up to 9K, staying there and NOT shifting into 3rd gear from 2nd is the secret. My FI means that I am going to be braking faster & sooner, that's all. Sorry to be rambling, I'm just getting jonesin' for the WTD event and it is still 5 weeks away!!

Hey Scott, I want a ride in that beast. I bet my S felt quite slow to you when we went for a ride.
Anytime that we can hook up is fine by me. I owe you the ride and, you take the wheel, see what you think from both seats!

Hey Q,

Believe me, the pleasure is still always mine!! I'm glad that it still excites me as if it was the first time. But, being the cheap date that I am, there is still nothing better than watching the reaction of those that get to ride in this car for the first time. Anytime that you see her in the parking lot, email me. We'll go for lunch and let 'er rip!

*BTW; next time you drive !!

See 'ya Sat at Brian's..................

Funny that you asked that. When me and Scott driving forward in time , we were discussing that with a SC you dont have to baby it as much as you would a turbo.

For example, you can just wake up and warm the car up a little and just roll out.
You dont have to worry about lag, or none of the other issues of a turbo.
Now if this is not an issue with you then fine, so be it. It all depends on how much power you are trying to make.

After my ride in Scott's S, I will tell you this. A SC S2k is plenty fast for me!

Good point! Can that do allot of damage to the engine? And from your
experience, which one is more user friendly?
