Funny that you asked that. When me and Scott driving forward in time , we were discussing that with a SC you dont have to baby it as much as you would a turbo.
For example, you can just wake up and warm the car up a little and just roll out.
You dont have to worry about lag, or none of the other issues of a turbo.
Now if this is not an issue with you then fine, so be it. It all depends on how much power you are trying to make.
After my ride in Scott's S, I will tell you this. A SC S2k is plenty fast for me!

Don't get me wrong for 5k the S/C is the best bolt on power you can get. Just don't be like Brian, JC, and me. Once you get a taste for power you want more.

The S/C is great for a plug and play system. To do a turbo right you need a programable ECU. Money spent on that and programming can be expensive. I was happy with my Comptech S/C until I went turbo. Now I can't imagine going back. 100 more HP, 85 ft lbs of torque, power down low instead of only above 6k and no thrown belts. I only got thrown belt with the 9lb pulley. No belt tensioner, bad design.

You need more and more to get that fix.

Just FYI, my SC, exhaust and header are gonna be up for sale very soon. The SC may be spoken for, but if that falls through, I'll post it up locally first.
and what kinda SC and how much
