Angry GOT TO RIDE IN SC'ed AP1

So I was taking a power nap for lunch sitting in my S2k when I hear an after market exhaust note comming from the rear.

And to my surprise it was Zacksdad2 a.k.a. Scott in his super charged AP1 who works in the same business park that I do. He had just gotten of work and fulfilled
his promise to take me for a ride in his car.

I eagerly hop in, palms sweaty with anticipation like Barry Bonds on a 3 and 2 pitch in the bottom of the ninth. Well at this time 6 o'clock traffic was at its peak but where we work has some curvy streatches of tarmack, so we headed off.

As soon as we turned onto the main road, he went for it! And MAN his car was out like a FAT GIRL IN DODGE BALL!

1st, 2nd, 3rd and all I felt was a constant pull all the way to 9k

This road was pretty much just a cresent sweeping curve and not once did this car break traction. All it did was excelerate. The top being down just added to the overall effect with the supercharger whine and the exauhst screaming away.

We did a quick u-ey and came back in the same manner as we left. All that I can say is DAMN And this car is not even tuned to its full potentual!!!

Scott, thankyou SOOO much for the expirience.
YOU my friend, have made my day!!!!

And sorry if I left nail marks on your dash.

may be ordering one in the next week. I've only seen the vid clips on them ... and that seems to be enough for me! Actually riding in one will only make me hate myself for waiting.

I'll let ya'll know what happens ... just waiting to see what the mailman brings in the next couple of days. Hopefully an unexpected bonus! (but, it's obvious that I'm expecting it ... i'm greedy)

Sure would be nice to have it on in time for THE beach partay ... Right Willie Gee? heh heh

Check with Todd at 2NRWERKS. He gets a good deal on Comptech.

I loved my Comptech S/C. Smooth, dependable, and it would walk a stock car. The only reason I changed is that it didn't make sense to keep S/C when I had to rebuild the motor. Didn't cost much more to go turbo.

Hey Q,

Believe me, the pleasure is still always mine!! I'm glad that it still excites me as if it was the first time. But, being the cheap date that I am, there is still nothing better than watching the reaction of those that get to ride in this car for the first time. Anytime that you see her in the parking lot, email me. We'll go for lunch and let 'er rip!

*BTW; next time you drive !!

See 'ya Sat at Brian's..................

Hey Scott, I want a ride in that beast. I bet my S felt quite slow to you when we went for a ride.

Scotts car is smooth on the power application too. Like Carltons engine, it just sounds very tight and precise.

Not sloppy and piggy like mine

<----will have 0 mile build motor in a few days, still stock mind you but almost completely new head internals possibly more.

I dont know if I should be happy or sad or what. It is going to be a great experience to learn me some F20 stuff but at the same time I have a sick motor that will not give up the cause of the drama without a fight. I def. have the weirdest S2000 ever to be released from the factory.
