Grand Prix Graphics
How do you safely remove the graphics from the Honda Grand Prix of St. Pete? I kept them on my car till after Wake The Dragon, and want to make sure I don't damage my car during removal. Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks; we had a great time. I really appreciate your help Friday with the air pressure and the use of your wash mit and soap.
I will look for the photo on Killboy. That one of you "running" the Dragon is priceless.

Mine all came off rather easy it seemed to be a low tack adhesive and the fact mine were only a week or so old when i removed them.
Suggestions:
Take it out in the sun or use a hair dyer to warm up the surface
start one edge with a food scraper or goo gone special sticker remover tool (check auto zone or similar place to get the kit-highly recommend) use a straight razor or box cutter razor as a last resort but do not fear it as the sticker is thick and getting the edges started will not take much
If you want to keep your graphics find a large sheet of acetate or other plastic and mix up some hand soap or dish soap and wayer in a container - spread a layer of the soapy water onto the acetate in an area bigger than the graphic you are getting ready to apply - pull off your graphic using even light pressure (to keep from stretching the vinyl) and keep it from touching itself - lay the graphic (adhesive side down) onto the soapy plastic and spread edges out until it is even
using squeegie or other flat device gently work out the air bubbles from the center pushing the excess water and air out of the edges of the graphic
let dry and viola it is adhered to the plastic backing. Now cut away all the excess plastic using a box cutter or Xacto and you now have a trimmed piece ready to mount in a frame or store until you want to apply it to something else
I saved my banner, one logo, and Andretti's name this way....worked like a charm

Its real easy removing them:
Just very gently pull it off like you would a piece of tape, the slower you go, the less risk of it tearing or stretching.
I saved my "Honda" and the "St Pete" race logo on a sheet of glass that I cleaned before and I've stored it in the garage w/ some towels over it to keep it clean.
My "Mike Alstott" logo, I had Mike sign it for my nephew and I attached it to his mirror in his bedroom.
And it was a great drive to WTD!

Just like everyone else posted...very easy to remove.
I didn't keep the Honda windsheild or the Kelly Hu stickers...memories, pictures, "DNA shot"...enough said.
I did take both of the door logos off and mounted them on some plexi (about 2 weeks after the GP). I still need to clean up the cuts on the plexi but I'll mount one in the S-garage soon and the other in my boy's closet since he now has the "Hot Wheels" theme room.
As the saying goes Don, "It ain't nothing but a thing." Seriously, VERY easy to remove. No special tools or anything on this end. Peeled off nice and slow. Washed, dried, and a little Z-6 and she was good as new.
