Default HU pics for FLO

Sorry the pics are so big but I wanted you to see what it was up close.

I made a piece that would hold it just under the dashon the passenger side. Very little leg room was lost and it is still within reach of the driver being that this is such a small car. I know there are better ways to do it but I tried everywhich way to fit it in stock location and Im not ready to cut the dash just yet. This is completely reversable leaving only 3 tiny screw holes on the underside of the dash.

You know Mastergrade.net makes a CF bessel that makes it professional enough looking to cut the dash permanatley. It fits a 7.5 LCD i believe, then you could but a DVD HU in the stock door. Worth the modification IMO.

website doesnt show up...but i dont necessarily like just having a normal screen up there...if i was going to cut into the dash it would be for dvd and navigation with the touchscreen...not just to watch movies...

Yeah I can see the screen just fine. It is butted up agains the side of the center console so it is as close to me as I could get it. The carbon bezel looks good too. Maybe when get the nerve to break out the dremel.

Im not sure of the post but I saw one where someone did some modifying to fit a double din unit where the stock one is. It involves moving SRS stuff from under where your stock HU sits, but if you know what your doing I dont believe it would be that hard.

The LCD is just an AVI output.... if you had the drive and the money you could hook up a computer to it. Plus when I say DVD HU, I mean a radio deck that is capabale of playing DVD fromated dics. Some high end decks will have built in GPS, movie players, road map programs, etc....
