From V2 to Comptech a 5hp gain

 

ARGH.

This is just making it harder for me to decide.

 

Keep the comptech, and you don't worry about hydro lock, If you want real hp gains sell both and put a deposit on an SC

 

use neither get a spoon filter mod the box (cut the front wall drill holes in the bottom for drainage) and get a snorkle from spoon or ebay either or works then put ice in the bottom of the box for when you feel like racing or a couple of ice packs that would last longer then there ya go sleeper froze air intake ghetto but effective

 

Speedy wasn't asking on how to ghettoize his S2000, he was/is asking which intake he should keep and which one to sell.

I vote keep the Comptech, sell the V2.

 

 

I just like how open my engine bay is with the aem, thats all I really noticed from the switch....

I thought mine was making a whistling noise since I installed it but then I unplugged my ipod from the stereo and the whistling magically stopped.....so I have no complaints about my aem.

 

oh well shit sell both and do the spoon filter set up

 

It is OFFICIAL.

The Comptech is back on. The experts have spoken and told me to go with my original instinct.

S2kSuzuka. I would love to do the supercharger, but that would put me in SM2 and I cannot be competitive in that class. Mabie when I pay off this S I will buy another one and supercharge it, then turn this one into an all out track car.

Ohh and ArchAngel. ummmmm... Yea I dont think that would happen to my car. Although I have used a bag of ice on the floorboard of my Camaro as A/C. It works good.

 

BTW. I believe CT engineering is the "new" name for comptech. or they took over, whatever the story is. Same people making the same products.
