Not to mention... Its being said that it will be impossible to buy the phone with the appropriate data and voice plans for under $100/month.

Plus the sucker is big for a phone.

Cool

Just like any other iAnything. wait for three or so months and there will be one with twice the everything the orginal one had. I got hosed big time on the 1st gen iPod. two weeks later they had a 10 GB version and they would not give me a credit for the 5 GB version I bought. I was a day three owner, I waited in line and everything.

Phuchk apple

BTW Steve Jobs just announced the newest product he developed for himself after the success of the iPod and subsequent spin offs.....its going to be called iRetire

BTWW just so you know....the profits alone from ipod and ipod products (just for Apple not to mention third parties and their products) since 2001 is over 200 billion

BTWWW LG has had this kind of phone for a long time (well before apple) and marketed it to Prada as a stand alone phone. They are going to repackage their version and release it for verizon and other carriers so dont waste your time with AT&T

<---bitter, dont mind me

I was going to wait until ATT's exclusive was over, however they did a 5 year exclusive. I was going to wait until the 2nd gen iPhone but come to find out that its going to most likely be late next year. Oh well, I love Apple and I love everything about the iPhone so I took Friday off work and will be at the Apple store waiting in line to get one. Besides, my Macbook and iPod are lonely...

cell phones are the new watches. Daily apparel that has become a symbol of status. I like nice things. I admit it. The iphone looks to be a very nice thing.

I've heard $500 for it and it can only open .PDF files (no word, works, powerpoint, etc.). Seems to me it does a lot of things, just none of them very well. For me, I already own an Ipod, digital camera, laptop, and a phone that all work. Why do I need 4-in-one?

Cool phone, but no thanks for $500.
