k24 block with k20 head?
yes ... very well.
Skunk2 and Realtime racing have both done this for obvious reasons. Still decent rod/stroke ratio. 2004 and up K20 heads (RSX-S) came with JDM intake cam and intake manifold. Only published a 10hp gain with OE programming but that obviously is worth more once 'adjusted'.
Just do a little research on any motor-swap pages for Civics ... including the new Honda Fit!!! Honda-tech would be a good place to look.

that's one of them ... i thought i had seen one with the k24/k20 combo. I could have just been dreaming.
Not sure if everyone doin these conversions knows ... but, a really good transmission setup would be to use the RSX-S gears and the TSX casing (the casing is a magnesium alloy!). I forget the weight difference ... but it is worth it if that's what you're after.
