Well the retards at Advance Auto Parts said they were going to get the plugs in for me today but when I went to pick them up, they didn't have them. So I ended up just regapping the ones I have and it seemed to make the fault go away. I reset the ECU and drove it for about 15 minutes tonight, no light. So I hope it stays off.

I'll replace the plugs tomorrow (if they get them in). The only thing now is that the car feels like it's going to stall at idle. Maybe it's the ECU relearning the fuel mixture. Not sure.

I'm running plan old NGK plugs, $!.50 each you do not have to spend a mint on plugs for this car. I dyno better with the standard plug at 212 HP and have no issues at all I have a set of Denso plugs I bought for $60.00 bucks, and they are sitting on a shelf

2 cents, at 60k the valves would probably need adjusting. I got the tool at Amazon.com for $12 and you can find detailed instructions on how to adjust the valves on the site.

I agree that the valves probably need adjusted but I don't think it's causing the light. The regapping seemed to cure the problem last night. I have the plugs in hand now. They'll go in tonight. Hopefully, this makes it go away for good.

I will get a valve adjustment soon.

FLS2K reminded me of a TSB out for spark plugs. Just saw this comparison in another thread. The one on the left is pre-TSB and the center one is post. So I guess I've had the pre spark plug in it the whole time. Grrr.

Well, I put the new plugs in last night and all I can say it WOW. Big difference. Pulls hard, feels strong, no rough idle and most importantly, no CEL. I'll see tonight if the trend continues but looks like that was it.

Thanks all.
