had the same problem might have read in the under thehood section.


honda did valve adjust, cel came back

i got plusg changed, cel came back in 120 miles

finally i removed the injectors and cleaned them thoroughly.. their was gunk all over them and she runs fine.

i had the exact same problems you did, but mine also made a gargle noise from the engine when cruising.. which is now gone.


goodluck, my plugs looked the same but the problem ended up being the injectors.

problem wasnt solved :-( CEL came back on today, hopefully you have better luck than me, i have an appt on monday with honda to see whats next.

your car still acting properly after plug change?

 

So far so good but I've only driven it a couple of days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
