I know everyone is capable of doing this if they haven't done so already, Today I was bored so I polished my velocity stack and it took about a half an hour. If anyone makes the trip I will do it for free! here are some pics!!!!
Just give me some notice!

Nick,
That looks amazing! Not sure when I'll be in Orlando next. Was just there last Thursday for a few hours (meeting-yawn!). If you don't mind me asking...what did you use/do? I was considering having my brother in law pc a brighter chrome once he gets set up. Looks like that might not be necessary based on your work. Keep me posted on the CF stuff too. I may be interested in several pieces but at least the valve shield.

I bought a bench grinder at HD awhile back and put on a polishing wheel when I was learning how to polish Carbon Fiber,
You just put some compound on the wheel and let er rip! it takes a few passes but I stopped because I had plans - you can make it very shiny if you are patient!

Each CAI will sound different. Obviously look different too. Some like the AEM/4IG vs. the Comptech vs. the PRM, etc. You have at least the former installed in your neck of the woods (Dave). I bet there's a Comptech around there too. Haven't heard of any PRMs closer than Nick in Orlando though.
Not sure what the dyno says I picked up but I feel a slight pep. Guessing somewhere around 5hp. The sound at Vtech I absolutely love and IMO I haven't seen another CAI that has more "bling factor." That's is totally just opinion though. There are some disappearing pipes that look very nice and there is something monstorous, demon-like about all of the black housing material of a Comptech.
You can see pics of my PRM install and Rare5s Comptech bay shots if you go to www.FirstCoastS2k.com and go under "photos." The site is totally under construction so beware but that part was up last I checked. Pretty good slideshow of about 65 pics of the day.
