Default Miata tech Question

I have a 2002 Miata rear diff (carrier) I would like to know if it will fit with little to no modification into a 1994 Miata car.
I only have the rear housing (3rd member) with the gears and LSD installed. I would be using the stub axels, rear cover from the 1994 car if it is interchangeable??????????

It's been a long time since I had a Miata...but I think the drive train was pretty much the same from MY94-05...there were some hp increases along the way, but I don't think the diffs were that different. MY89-93 were different diffs I know for sure, but even then the NB Miata Torsen diffs would mate up. But Ben, you should get an account on Miata.net and ask the experts.
