I highly doubt it would be a problem at all. The honda engines are pretty well balanced and i'm sure the drivetrain can handle it. Plenty of people do this

It would be like having a car with a cutoff well into the redline; I could use the top end at my own risk.

I do appreciate all the tips and leads you guys have given me. And if you hear of something else while I raise the cash please let me know. I'm supposed to receive a big check Real Soon Now (it is more than a month late) which will pay for the work.

Of course, that would push me out of stock class for the FAST autoX. But what the heck, I'm not a good enough driver to be competitive anyway.
