Default new car

picked up a new 2007 Accord EX-L w/Navi, 4 cyl auto, Graphite Pear, Grey leather.

came from the dealer with these add-ons: rubber trunk liner, splash guards, wheel locks, sunroof wind deflector, and snazzy pin strips....

My Mods to date:

1. ordered and installed a trunk lid liner like the V6 comes with stock.
2. hardwired the radar detector
3. spent 2-3 hours removing snazzy pin strips. first side went perfect, second side left 90% of the sticky goo on the car. Goo-Gone with lots of rubbing and goo was gone. then touch up with clay bar and wax. total PITA!!!
4. ordered and installed Parrot CK3100 bluetooth interface. works great!
5. to be completed during my trip to Atlanta. going to have my previous tint guy in Atlanta do the tint on the Accord. he will be using the newest Llumar film called Llumar Axcess, 50% all the way around including the windsheild. the new film will not interfere with any of the electronics in the car. ie: navi, radar detector, yada, yada. www.llumaraxcess.com

car has 250 miles now and is about to go on it's first road trip Wednesday. Orlando-Alanta-Birmingham-Atlanta-Orlando. the Navi will be fun to play during the trip.

right now it's just fun to talk to the system and tell it to change the A/C, radio settings. Woot!!

and before you ask, yes i still have the S, and the GF still has her '06 Civic EX. the accord makes 4 hondas at the house, if you include my honda lawn mower.

i will post pics after the tint job.

and my F&F mower........

Accords are very nice.
Nice choice there.

Had two in the past. an 89 and a 96. Both top of the line.
Enjoy your road trip. If you figure out the navi, let me know. Still having fun with mine in the 07 Ridgeline. To busy reading an S2k repair manual.

I have played with the Hona Navi, and I have to admit: I am not a fan. The Garmin Nuvi is the best Navi ever IMO and is much better than any dash mounted Navi system I have seen to date.

of all the OEM navi units, Honda/Acura wins hands down. I have not played with any of the garmin units, but i wanted to stay with OEM fitment.

Don't worry, if the Nav is anything like the one in my RL it is awesome! Nice big display and of course touch screen!

What a great choice, better than looking at any old unreliable BMW...
