I like them more than you do!
We have pool noodle wars shooting each other with water through the hollow noodles.
Ever lit a fart?

Does not nitrogen keep its temperature much better thus reducing tire expansion and wear?? I thought that was the main jist of why it's better than regualr air as far as what I heard.

glad we are back on topic BTW

So, does anyone here have experience with Nitrogen in their race tires?
And, if so... is it worth it?
What I find is that on my favorite track - which has more left hand high speed turns that my right tires always have higher pressure after the run. That may, or may not be an issue.
If I run Nitrogen, and have less fluctuation and even pressures - wouldn't that be better?
I'm looking for every edge I can find as I am closing in on splendid times at our local track.

I have heard that our cars (S2000) handle poorly with even a little variation in tire pressure. However, I would think it would depend on the racing application. For Auto x, people sometimes change the tire pressure for more or less pressure to improve handling. With N2, you would only be able to lower pressure. It is not very convenient for that application unless you know what press is the best for your driving conditions. For continuous driving like on a track where changing the pressure is not conceivable, N2 would be ideal, because it holds its pressure and is minimally effected by the temperature of the tire. Hope this helps.

I have a friend who has been running nitrogen in his IMCA car and his Outlaw Sprint car for about nine(9) years, think about the heat a sprint car tire produces, it never stops spinning sideways around the track.
