Oh so tempting...

I've had my eye on this one for awhile, guess the guy finally decided to put it on e-bay. Just can't justify doing anything until I get the whole buying a house thing sorted out

I'd like a s600, But only as an addition to the S2000. the 600 would be a fun car, but it won't give you the excitement that the S2000 did. I'd say for get the 600, get the house, then get another S2000. Just my .02
Yeah but theres just something appealing to me about the vintage roadsters and sports cars. I love the old Triumphs, MG's, Fiat's etc... They may not be the fastest or most exciting rides out there but they are just cool, plus its something to tinker around with on the weekends. Oh well, right now its just a dream, I think I'm going to go ahead and sell the Brat and put that money aside to start saving for another S. I figure probably about 3 years at most unless my financial situation changes significantly before then (i.e. big raise). By that time I might even be in a position to keep the Jeep and get a used S.
I owned a Fiat spider Black with a tan top and Chromadora rims usualy reserved for Feraris.
I thought that the Fiat was technologicaly superior to the sports cars of its times, especially in the suspension dept. My only knock on the spider is that it's life span was dismal. a major rust bucket.
They had to recall them in the early 80's because they rusted prematurely.
I would get another one only if I got one real cheap and in great condiition structuraly.

My roomate has a '79 Spider thats been sitting in the garage for about 8 months now with a broken tie rod or something, hes just not motivated to fix it. They are were pretty much considered THE roadster to have back in their day. Thankfully his isn't rusted or anything but it seems like most of the cars from that era are prone to rust, too bad nobody figured out rust-proofing back then.
