Default OUCH! My "S" got hit today

Well this morning I was going to work. I was the second car at a red light. Our light turned green and the truck in front of me blared his horn and sped up to avoid being hit by a guy who ran the red light. He didn't hit the truck, but me instead. So the impact wasn't bad because we both were almost stopped by the time we hit. I pulled out of the intersection and stopped off the side of the road. Would you believe when I got out of the car they drove off!!! There is damage to all the front bumper stuff. Nothing else really looks bad. My hood looks alittle off. I can't believe they left! Oh well, it could have been a lot worse! I think this is my third strike with this car. ... Engine blown, spin out on 417, and now a hit and run!
So icefire069, Tampa isn't the only place in Florida that needs to watch out.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Because they drove off your insurance will now have to pay the claim, that means a deductible for you. If you need some body shop recommendations let us know. Good luck.

Yipee! My "S" is finally back from the shop. Looks good! I really, really missed her. And I did get to drive the NSX a few more times than usual!

That's great news Deb. How was the paint and body work at this place? Would they consider repainting the front half of an NSX in about 6 months?

I thought they did a great job painting. Of course the front bumper is all new, but they did some work on my hood. I'm not sure if they repainted the whole hood or just the bottom part. Either way, I don't see any difference from the rest of the car. Vince asked about the NSX. They said for you to bring it in for an estimate. They were just finishing a Lamborghini. (Yellow of course!)

dhoward, I'm in need of some body repair and would like the name of the shop you had your work done at. Thanks!
