[QUOTE=PrimoGen,Sep 7 2007, 05:55 AM] I agree with others that you need to trim in CF somewhere else to make it flow more.

Painted mine when I got rid of all the CF. Love it a lot more now.

"Big ugly" is right!!!

I know one of our old local members (like 4-5 years ago) had a huge wing. Ugly as hell but it also seemed easy to remove. Not that I saw him remove it but I know a few meets he'd be w/o. Basically all there was on the trunk was two relatively small strips/braces the whole contraption mounted to. Can yours do something like that? Basically, track day on, normal day off with "little" evidence.

Again...really like the BYS but that it needs to be painted unless you go CF trunk and probably the hood as well.
The mugen wing is mounted using the stock bolt locations for the OEM wing. It's four bolts total, so you can remove it for street, but then less people would rev on you and/or give you condescending looks. So the desired effect for many will be considerably lessened.

And actually the mugen wing sits too low for track duty, so when I go to the Chin events i will fabricate extensions to get the wing to my roofline. This is where the wing has the greatest downforce, and most ridiculous look.

I don't think I could make myself paint CF, but a couple more pieces would look nice.
Being I do not want to paint it!

The BYS might actually create lift. To get downforce you need a big ugly wing like me. It works, the CR is proof. Honda engineers saw a problem with lift in the rear and solved it by putting a big nasty wing on the back of the car.

For serious track duty it is almost a requirement.
how would it create lift?

so honda engineers saw that problem but left the rear parachute attached and didn't do a thing to cut down on seat theft like locking seat bolts?

Theory of airflow:

thus my theory of lift.
